Regarding your OP, how long they wait with the banwaves will surely vary from wave to wave. Personally, I've never been banned for buying gold (on retail though, not classic), but the risk is always present. I do not have much experience when it comes to getting banned for buying gold, just trying to explain based on his info. If you buy gold from the same seller once or twice or several times does not matter if they check all his transactions when he's caught. It's not a matter of "how long until I'm safe", but a matter of "when will the seller get caught, and am I then at risk?". So even if you bought from him one week, month or a year ago you are at risk. What he said, was that if the person you bought gold from continues to sell gold with the same account, if he ever gets caught they will look at all his previous transactions. To me it is clear, that buying/selling steadily puts my Account at risk every single time. Not sure if you understood what Measured meant. And what about buying once (and never again)? How long does it usually take until blizz bans or warns me?
